The Cuban Solution

Melissa Mitchell, Howard University Graduate, is a currently a 4th year medical student attending the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba.  Her drive to become a doctor despite financial difficulties led her to the amazing full scholarship being offered to US students from underserved communities by the Cuban government.  The scholarship is granted in exchange for a lifetime of service in that same community.  To read the full article, click the link below.
