Messages of Congratulations

Congressman James Clyburn

30th Anniversary Logo

It is with great pleasure that I extend my warmest congratulations on the occasion of your 30th Anniversary. THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine boasts a long and proud history of equipping African-American students throughout our nation with the tools necessary to compete in all areas of society.  I am confident this tradition will continue for years to come. As you honor the past and build the future, let us continue to make one of the fundamental promises of democracy a reality.  Now is the time to make a reality for all.  Together, we can make that dream a reality.  Together, we can make access to education everything it is meant to be.

The Congressional Black Caucus applauds the contributions THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine has made to help strengthen the African-American collegiate experience.  As Chairman, I will continue to promote minority student development initiatives; doing so expands our choice, helps build our economy to grow and helps to create jobs. Again, I send you my heartfelt congratulations for the first 30 years and great success for the next 100 years.

Congressman James Clyburn
(D-SC) Chair, Congressional Black Caucus of the United States Congress
