Messages of Congratulations Carla D. Williams

On behalf of the National Executive Board of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., it is my pleasure to congratulate THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine on its 30^th anniversary. The forward thinking vision, some 30 years ago, to publish and communicate to African-American students information on careers, job opportunities, internships, and study abroad programs is as important today as it was then. We have always known that "it takes a village." THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine has been an outstanding member of that village and the light guiding students as they navigate through the college maze, and move into the career of their dreams. As the president of the oldest organization comprised of African-American families, I salute you-a vital member of "the village."
