30th Anniversary Gala Celebrations in Las Vegas and New Orleans

A huge part of THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine's 30th Anniversary of publishing in 2000-2001 involved two Gala Celebrations. The first one was held at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) annual conference in Las Vegas on May 30, 2001. Our Advertiser Partners this year received awards at both celebrations for sharing our strong commitment to providing African-American college students with valuable career and self-development information. Equally important were the many career services professionals from across the nation along with other friends and associates at both events joining us to celebrate. We've produced a special photo gallery from the Las Vegas celebration to share with our readers. Also, more photos are shown from our second Gala Celebration held in New Orleans on July 11, 2001 during the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) annual convention. The theme of our 30th Anniversary is "We Celebrate Success."
