The WVDOT/Division of Highways is a government agency with responsibility for design, construction, and maintenance of all roads and bridges in the State of West Virginia. The agency (consisting of a central office and 10 district offices) covers all geographic areas of the State. Total employment is around 5,000.

Jobs Available/Majors Desired: Career opportunities exist for applicants possessing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.S.C.E.). Those applicants who have successfully passed the Fundamental Examination and possess an E.I.T. Certificate are preferred.
