Government & Public Service, Healthcare, and Financial Services on Top

 

After looking into the top industries amongst diverse students, we can see that the preferences differ quite substantially between the respective ethnic groups.

Government/public service and healthcare rank as the top industries among Latino/Hispanic Americans. The same goes for American Indian/Alaska Native students. Both groups also show a strong interest in the education/teaching industry.

For Asian-American/ Pacific Islanders, the financial services industry tops the rankings, followed by healthcare. Management consulting, investment banking, and government/ public service round out the top 5 for this group.

Overall, the Black/African Americans, American Indian/Alaska Natives, and Latino/Hispanic Americans have much in common in regards to their ideal industry.
