Leadership, Teamwork and Excellence

professional development opportunities to some of the best and brightest
African American, Hispanic/Latino and Native American students in the
U.S. since 1990. The eXceed program includes:
■ A $3,000 scholarship
■ Participation in our annual Diversity
in Business Leadership Conference - a dynamic, two day conference
filled with enthusiasm, energy and emotion.
■ An internship between your sophomore
and junior year of college
What It Takes to Be an eXceed Scholar
To qualify, you must be a freshman or sophomore
with strong academic standing (3.2 or higher GPA) and an academic and
career interest accounting, management information systems or computer
science. The application process runs from September through December.
The scholarship winners will be announced in April.
How to Apply
To apply for eXceed, you will need to provide the
following to complete your application:
1. Resume including current GPA (high school for
freshman or college for sophomores)
2. Online Application Printout
3. Personal Essay: PricewaterhouseCoopers’ core
values are Leadership, Excellence and Teamwork. Your essay should
describe how you have demonstrated one or all of these values in your
academic career and/or through your work experience and why you believe
these values are important. In addition, briefly outline your career
goals in the area of accounting, business or IT. (Minimum: 300 words)
4. A letter of recommendation from a high school
teacher, college professor, official or advisor
In addition we ask that you complete our Online
Career Profile at
www.pwc.com/ocp. In the drop down field on the OCP, when asked “if
applying through a special program,” indicate program name, “eXceed
Program”.
Based on initial applications, finalists will be
interviewed in person by a PricewaterhouseCoopers partner, manager, or
recruiter. As part of the interview process you will need to provide an
official college/university and/or high school transcript.
