Salary Expectations

Money BagWith a job market on the rebound salary expectation is once again a hot topic of discussion. The Universum survey reports that more than 50 percent of minority students primarily select companies that over high starting salaries. When narrowing in on the expectations, ethnic group diferences are, as seen in graph below, striking. Salary expectations of students representing the Latino and Native American community fall in the lower end of the spectrum while descendants from India expect to earn more than $50,000 in starting salary after graduation.
