EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLES
SIT's accredited
curriculum incorporates field-based practice, reflection, and application, and
prepares graduates who are critical thinkers, effective communicators, and
compassionate advocates with exceptional intercultural skills and awareness.
SIT educates leaders capable of bridging
differences between people and nations in an effort to build a more peaceful and
sustainable world.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Students are automatically considered for all
available grants and scholarships at the time their financial aid application is
reviewed. Special SIT scholarships have been established to recognize applicants
whose professional and personal goals reflect the SIT mission. Federal loan
assistance is also available to US citizens and permanent residents.
CAREER ASSISTANCE AND ALUMNI NETWORK
SIT's Professional Development Resource Center (PDRC) is dedicated to the
career success of each student and to the on-going professional development of
students and alumni.
SIT's alumni are active and interconnected,
sharing thousands of job opportunities each year. Over 95% of students are
employed in a position related to their degree within one year of their study.
