NSEP Fellowships enable U. S. graduate students to add an important international dimension to their education by providing support for overseas study and limited domestic tuition to students who will pursue the study of languages, cultures, and world regions deemed critical to U.S. national security. Excluded is study of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Fellowships are awarded in a broad range of disciplines, including business, economics, applied sciences and engineering, history, international affairs, law, political science, and other social sciences. Applicants must be U.S. citizens to apply.

The SMART program offers 10-week research internships for underrepresented undergraduates in science and engineering each summer. The internships provide hands-on experience in research and an introduction to graduate education at a leading university. Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, interns design, carry out, and formally present projects in their areas of interest. Interns earn three hours of upper division credit, and receive a stipend for all expenses. Application deadline is mid-February. Name of Fellowship: Emory Minority Graduate Fellowship (EMGF)

Description of Fellowship: The EMGF covers all tuition and direct educational costs for five years and provides an annual stipend of $15,000. The EMGF competition is open to first-time applicants entering doctoral study at Emory. Awards are given solely on the basis of merit and are renewed each year contingent upon satisfactory academic performance.

Eligibility Requirements: Minority applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and must be pursuing a PH.D degree.

The Drucker MBA offers the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which is designed for full-time or part-time students interested in the practice of management. In addition, dual-degree programs with the humanities and social sciences are available. The goal of the master's degree program is to produce leaders of enterprises in the twenty-first century. CGU awards institutional aid on the basis of merit to support distinguished students in their degree programs. The university may also consider financial need in addition to merit in awarding fellowships. Institutional aid is awarded to selected students by the dean of faculty on the recommendation of department faculty. Most frequently, institutional support is granted in the form of a tuition fellowship, although some stipends and assistantships are awarded. Money for fellowships comes from the general fund of the institution, the generosity of private donors, foundations, corporations, and from endowment income.
