Letter to the Editor
Frederick A. Douglas, Saint Mary's Hospital-Mayo Clinic

Dear Editor:

As a former employee (summer '88) of THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Magazine, I still hold that experience close to my heart. I recall riding the bus to work when the establishment was located on Broad Avenue. My journey would be encompassed with enormous pride and anticipation, as I sat waiting to receive the many dutiful and challenging tasks presented from my boss, mentor and role model, Mr. Preston Edwards Sr. Those tasks for a junior high school student, served as the foundation for a strong work ethic, fundamental value for service, and economic achievement. I resound with honor and appreciation that I had the opportunity to observe Black leadership and success at its finest. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!

Very truly yours,
Frederick A. Douglas
