In addition to playing Ruby in New Line Cinema's upcoming release Monster-In-Law, Wanda's been called "one of the funniest stand up comics" by her peers. Wanda Sykes was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, and raised in Maryland. She earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Hampton University. Wanda has contributed as a writer and an actress on various television shows. An Emmy award winner for her work on The Chris Rock Show. Wand lives in Los Angeles and New York.
