Dark Thirst
Edited by Angela C. Allen - Stories by Omar Tyree, Angela C. Allen, Monica Jackson, Linda Addison, Donna Hill and Kevin S. Brockenbrough

Dark ThirstA haunting anthology of vampire fiction-one that brings a colorful new dimension to one of the world's most erotic and enduring myths.

In Angela C. Allen's "Vamp Noir," organized crime and the occult meet in the form of a hypnotically beautiful, twenty-something vampire who rides a motorcycle and works as the part-time muscle for a New York City mob capo.

The Urban Griot (Omar Tyree) sizzles the senses with the erotic memoir "Human Heat: The Confessions of an Addicted Vampire" as the darkly handsome Creole, Martelli Daniel Sosa, transports readers back to Antebellum-era New Orleans and the origins of his vampire blood.

Veteran writer Monica Jackson, loved by her many fans for her quirky sense of humor, outdoes herself in "The Ultimate Diet" a tale of one sister's quest for the perfect body that has hilarious results. Diet diva Keeshia Meadows willingly trades her chunky thighs and big hips for sharp fangs and a small waist but soon finds that she's bitten off more than she can chew.

In "The Touch," author Donna Hill pens a story that skillfully blends eroticism with vampire lore. Can the hypnotically beautiful vampire Selena LaBeau, who has the power to seduce any man with a glance, settle for a life filled with fleeting moments of passion or will she give in to her hunger for something more?

In Linda Addison's "Whispers Between Still Moments" a mysterious quest pits a fierce vampire against an equally powerful vampire hunter determined to end her life. Their timeless chase consumes them both even as the pair are drawn dangerously close to the enemy.

Kevin S. Brokenbrough's "The Family Business" is a hard-hitting, action-filled tale that mixes traditional horror with true to the 'hood storylines as battered-wife Shelly Brown discovers a newfound courage under the light of the full moon when a vengeful vampire pushes her to the edge.
