Welcome to the homepage for the 2008 Pre-Graduation Virtual Career Fair from THE BLACK COLLEGIAN. This 2008 feature has expired.

The staff would like to all of the participants who helped make this year's Career Fair a success -- the thousands of jobseekers who visited this section since the launch, the active employers who submitted their recruiter's messages and openings available to entry-level candidates, and the campus career centers that helped to announce the event.

In particular, we thank the jobseekers who spared the time to take our post-fair survey, reporting on their Career Fair experience, and sharing suggestions for the site and for future fairs. We have already contacted many who will be invited to go on to participate in THE BLACK COLLEGIAN's paid Online Focus Group, and will contact additional participants within the next three weeks.

We were thrilled to hear that so many survey respondents -- many, newly minted graduates -- got job interviews from receptive employers. We wish you the very best for the next stage of the process, and encourage you to let us know if an offer is extended.

And a final note about this section: This Fair has "expired" in the sense that we solicited participation solely by employers who told us they still had openings for which they were still actively inviting entry-level or student applicants for spring 2008. Although visitors are still welcomed and encouraged to click-through to learn about opportunities with the many excellent employers who participated in the now-archived Fair, be advised that many or most may have filled those positions and closed their active searches for this season. Other employers with current searches inviting entry-level and student candidates may be found on our regular year-round job bank at THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Online, as well as on our sister-site, IMDiversity.com.

Our congratulations to graduates of the Class of '08, and our best wishes for a bright future ahead of you!
