Morgan & Morgan, P.A. Names L. Chris Stewart Partner in the Atlanta Office

L. Chris Stewart practices in the areas of personal injury, concentrating in auto/trucking collision cases, wrongful death, and premises liability. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Chris worked as an associate for Keenan Nix at Nix, Graddock & Crumpler. Impressively, within two years Chris received over 1.8 million dollars in settlements and verdicts. Chris previously clerked for notable trial attorney, Willie E. Gary, of Stuart, Florida.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Xavier University (LA). He earned a masters of science in public health, with a specialty in environmental policy, from Tulane University’s nationally renowned School of Public Health.

He went on to obtain his Jurist Doctorate from Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC. Chris was a member of Howard University School of Law’s Moot Court Trial Advocacy Team, which was the first African-American team to win the American Bar Association’s National Criminal Justice Trial Competition.

Chris was also selected as the “Outstanding Advocate” for this National Trial Competition which defeated schools such as Harvard and Stanford. Upon graduation from Howard University School of Law, Chris was rated as one of the best student trial attorneys in the country. He has been featured in Jet Magazine, Diversity and the Bar Magazine, AOL.com, and numerous other publications. Chris also traveled with famed actor Bill Cosby as a motivational speaker and was featured on ABC’s Nightline and Dateline.
