Phi Beta Sigma Challenges All Greeks To Register Voters!
The call to register voters on MLK Day has been made by Joe 'The Black Eagle' Madison, national radio talk show host for WOL 1450 AM Radio of the Radio One, Inc. and former Congressman Rev. Walter Faunteroy, President of the National Black Leadership Roundtable.

In support of that call, Phi Beta Sigma's National Director of Social Action, Marvin L. 'Doc' Cheatham, Sr. has called upon all National Pan Hellenic Council, Inc. organizations (Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority) to step up to the plate and spend the King Holiday registering voters across the nation.

Doc' Cheatham served as International Voter Registration, Education & Mobilization Chairman for the 'Million Family March' and Voter Registration Chairman for the 'Redeem the Dream.'

"I feel without a doubt that Phi Beta Sigma led the nation this past fall in registering voters. We are affectionately known as "The People's Fraternity" and we try to live-up to that title."

Additionally, National Director Cheatham has created a list of things each of us can do to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
